Madison Hanakahi joined the Read Charlotte team in August 2015 as the administrative assistant and was promoted to Project Coordinator in September 2018. Madison grew up close-by in Winston-Salem and has happily lived in Charlotte over nine years. She learned the value of integrity and the importance of teamwork helping patients with four legs as a veterinary technician. Now helping those with two legs, Madison is excited to be a part of the Read Charlotte team. Madison fondly recalls summer reading programs at the public library where reading was rewarded with enormous quantities of candy. Her favorite childhood book is The Story About Ping.
