Beth Shawver is the K-2 literacy facilitator at Idlewild Elementary. She is a fantastic literacy coach and teacher to young children. She truly enjoys literacy and is always researching ways to encourage children to read using a fun and positive approach. She also shares ideas for better reading with young children with other teachers and instructional assistants. She’s positive and truly understands the meaning of the phrase, “Reading is FUNdamental.”
The children and adults that she teaches and coaches are better prepared for any task at hand thanks to her.
